In the midst of moving stuff, reuniting with loved ones, and exploring our great city, we completely neglected documenting our dear Anders. My how he's grown in the 2 months since our move!
Just last week he turned 6 months old. There are few, by comparison to his siblings, photos of Anders-- by himself or at all. He tends to travel and enjoy the sights by way of the baby carrier, and doesn't really jump in front of the lens like his older brothers. And with our hands overly full, the camera is often forgotten at home.
At 4 months Anders was just a chubby, smiley baby who could fit in a mop bucket to bathe. He mastered rolling in both directions.
He already traveled well and learned to love his Jumparoo.
By 5 months he lost his newborn fuzz, and grew a new crop of thick dark brown hair.
At the end of 5 months he could sit if propped, but really loved being on his tummy to explore. Baby toys became essential, and baby proofing a necessity. At 6 months Anders is crawling. He loves saying "ba ba" and "mmmm", along with blowing raspberries. We started feeding him solid foods, which he takes eagerly.
While Anders seems to blend in easily with the scenery, with his easy going personality and ability to entertain himself, he is very much an important part of our family. Linus helps by holding Anders while I get the stroller set up, gets him toys, and throws away dirty diapers. He gives Linus a sense of responsibility. I treasure all the moments I have to nurse and hold him, I don't have much time left now that he's mobile. Even Mattias seems to appreciate the simplicity of caring for a baby, how holding this tiny person brings him so much comfort.
It has been an insanely hectic, crazy 6 months. But Anders added more joy and wonder to that time, and we really can't imagine our crazy life without him.
What a great timeline of an adorable little guy! His smile is infectious!
