Linus Cooks!

On a rainy Sunday afternoon, the guys voted to make pizza for dinner. I figured since Linus is a big boy now and is getting ready to be an older sibling, it was about time he learn to cook. After rolling out our dough and spreading the sauce, Linus helped me sprinkle the cheese.

"I eat this?"



Then came the toppings: cherry tomatoes and basil on one half, bacon and caramelized onions on the other.



A few sprinkles and smears later, we were done. I popped the masterpiece in the oven, cleaned up the mess, and the three of us watched and waited.



Linus approved of the end product.


I was just happy to share one of my favorite past-times with my child. If that's not what having a child is all about, I don't know what is.
