KarlssonKare Part II

Mattias and I have been pretty busy working lately; with me taking a few surgery shifts at the Washington Humane Society, and Mattias putting the final touches on his recently accepted manuscript to Nature Neuroscience. Not to fear, Linus has not been neglected! Farmor and Farfar spend 3 days a week spoiling our little dude- this blog post is a series of pictures sent from Kerstin's iPhone during the day while we are at work.

At least Linus gets to stop and smell the flowers

On a recent walk in the forest, just in their backyard, this giant azalea bush was bloomingAnd when the weather is nice Linus likes the baby swings
Like his pappa, he's drawn to music
Here he is banging on his first "drum"
Crib time is also playtime- Farfar's desk of computers and electronics is just next door, and Linus loves to steal whatever he can get his hands on :)
Here Farfar watches racing videos online with Linus, while teaching him about the track.
But sometimes they get tired and need a nap

And what can be better than the fresh air outside? It's not all fun and games though. We want Linus to be an independant young man, and that means learning to do his own laundry. Gotta start them young!
So you see, it ain't that bad for Little Linus. Many days Mattias and I find ourselves wishing we were babies again.... And for you Gus fans out there, life ain't too bad for him either :)

  1. Dude! He's growing so fast! To think, he's turning 1 in a few months, and he's already doing laundry!

  2. He's so lucky to have a Farmor and Farfar looking after him. You guys are very lucky also. God bless Farmor and Farfar.
