Egg-citement

Compared to Easters of the past, this year's celebration was a bit dialed down.  We spent the weekend in Milpitas, where Jonas, Lauren, & baby Jackson were visiting.  We got the boys all fancy and let the hunt begin after they finished breakfast.

This was Ander's first egg hunt, but he seemed to know what to do!  

After one minute we let Magnus start hunting, and compared to last year he was quick.  Linus was totally mad that he had to wait, and was convinced that there would be no eggs left for him.

After Magnus' 15 second head start, Linus was out of the gates.  He's quick to find eggs but slows himself down by opening them up to discover their contents.  That's my impatient boy.







We had 2 golden eggs filled with small money, but the boys preferred the candy.

After a little coaching to pick up the last of the challenging eggs, they sat down to check out their loot.  Of course Linus cried, claiming Magnus had way more eggs than him.  We did a little egg shuffling and tear drying, and the kids were happy to sit and eat their jelly beans, M&Ms, and marshmallows.
