Next stop- Washington DC

Actually, we'll be in Arlington, Virginia. But what's the dif'? This will be our last post from San Francisco, as we pack and move in the coming weeks.

We have been ridiculously busy these past 2 weeks- Mattias finally finished his PhD dissertation! While Mattias worked like mad writing, I was busy taking care of Linus and preparing for our big move. It has been so stressful that I got myself sick :( Luckily, we had grandparents and friends helping us with Linus and Co.



Little Linus has become quite the little man in these past few weeks- lots of talking, smiling, and interacting. He is awake a lot during the day, so we have conversations (usually one way,) read books, and look out the window. The added bonus is that he sleeps a lot at night. Here he is pooped after a walk.

We even had some time to visit with Ellie's vet school classmates, Troy and Ryan, whom we haven't seen in 3 years! Troy now has 2 beautiful little girls, and here we are with the brood:


So the big move happens very soon- Mattias drives cross country on Sept. 14th. Our house will be completely packed by Sept. 9th, and Ellie and Co. (Linus, Gus) will be in Milpitas until we fly out on Sept. 3oth. Wish us luck!
