Patiently waiting...

We are officially at 40 weeks and are still awaiting the arrival of our little person! While Mattias and I are summoning all of our patience, it can be hard at times with all of the texts, emails, and "Any news?" comments we get from all of our friends and family. Trust me, when it happens, we will sure to alert the troops ASAP ;)

Here we are at our 40 week check with a midwife. We get a little bored since all they do is weigh, measure my belly, and check my blood pressure. The midwife was very encouraging and definitely made us feel more ready.

Mattias passes the time by taking pictures of me and the animals.

Maternity leave has been really nice. After the first week of obsessive cleaning and organizing, I've tired out a bit and am now just enjoying all of the down-time and sleep that I won't be getting as a new mommy.

Visiting the Exploratorium and Palace of Fine Arts

Going to Opera at the Ballpark. Note the super soft grass and swollen pregger feet :) It was 92 degress in San Francisco!!!

So far, no plans for this week. Just to keep cool, stay patient, and get ready for all the work ahead. Stay tuned and please comment if you're reading this!

  1. Opera at the Ballpark?! It looks hella crowded too! Haha.

Man, the patience would be killing me. It's almost like counting down to execution, except you get a new baby instead! :) I can't wait to see it (her/him)!

  2. You should make a game out of all the impatient questions. You and Mattias should give award out to the person who asked the most, and to the person who asked the least, and to the person who came up with the best way of asking about the baby.

Can't wait to see you guys!
